There are 3 main lash growth phases:

Growth Phase- Also called Anagen, is the first stage of the lash cycle. Varies by genetics, etc. It usually lasts between 30-45 days. Not all lashes are on the same growth cycle

Transition Phase - Also known as Catagen. Once lashes reach designated length, they stop growing, the hair follicle shrinks, and they move on to this transition phase. This phase lasts between 2-3 weeks (14-21 days).

Resting/Shedding Phase - Also known as Telogen. lasts 3-4 months. A new hair begins to grow. As it grows, the old hair will shed naturally. The new lash emerges from the same opening as the old one, then the lash cycle restarts.
In general, lashes have a life span of about 3 months, but can last more than 100 days before the lash falls out and a new one begins to grow.
