  • Allergic reaction to Sensitivity Patch test!

  • Cataracts.

  • Cysts

  • Diabetic Retinopathy

  • Glaucoma

  • Herpes Simplex

  • Blepharitis

  • Hordeola/ Stye

  • Skin disease, trauma, cuts, abrasions, burns and swelling in the eye / eyebrow area

  • Dermatitis, Xanthelasma, syringoma

  • Eye infections

  • Eye Inflammation

  • Recent surgeries face

  • Scar tissue around the eyes / eyebrow area

  • Watery eyes

  • Hypersensitive eyes

  • Keratitis

  • Cancer or chemotherapy treatment

  • Alopecia

  • Trichotillomania

  • Bell's Palsy (any condition that makes opening or closing eye difficult)

  • Any illness that causes shaking, twitching or erratic movements

  • Pregnancy / Breastfeeding

COMMON CONTRA-ACTIONS:

A reaction after service has been performed even though sensitivity test was performed:

  • Erythema (reddening)

  • Minor itching

  • Minor skin irritation

UNCOMMON CONTRA-ACTIONS:

  • Extreme redness

  • Extreme sensitivity

  • Burnt skin

  • Blisters

  • Severe itching

SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE IF CONTRA-ACTIONS DO NOT SUBSIDE AFTER COOL COMPRESS HAS BEEN APPLIED.

REQUIRING MD REFERRAL:

  • Recent Lasik surgery

  • Dry eye syndrome

  • Glaucoma

  • Post Chemotherapy

  • Hormonal therapies

  • Hay fever / Rhinitis

  • Contact lenses must be removed for service.

BROW LAMINATION CONTRAINDICATIONS:

  • Herpes Simplex

  • Psoriasis / Eczema

  • Conjunctivitis

  • Alopecia

  • Folliculitis

  • Hemophilia

  • Epilepsy

  • Paresthesia / loss of skin sensation

  • Blood thinners or Accutane

  • Sunburn

  • Pregnancy / Breastfeeding

  • Recent Permanent Makeup

  • Cuts, abrasions, inflammation, swelling

  • Eyelift

  • Cancer / Chemotherapy / Radiation

BROW BOMB AFTERCARE:

  • Do not apply makeup or receive any other

  • eye treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment.

  • Avoid swimming / sauna for 24 hours.

  • Keep eyebrows dry for 24 hours.

  • Use Lash & Brow Toxx conditioner daily.

  • Avoid the temptation to over touch the eye-brow area after treatment. Touching adds oils to the area and can clog open pores, resulting in spots.

  • No prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat; no sunbeams, saunas, steam rooms or swimming pools.

  • Avoid tweezing in between appointments to maintain long-term shape.

  • Do not apply Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around the eyebrow area for 3 days before or after treatment.

  • No self tanning products on the face for 48 hours before or after treatment.

  • Tinting results will be darker and more defined immediately following treatment; oil based makeup remover will cause tint to fade faster.

LASH BOMB AFTERCARE:

  • Do not apply makeup or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours

  • after your treatment.

  • Avoid swimming/sauna for 24 hours.

  • Keep eyelashes dry for 24 hours.

  • ​

  • Use eyelash conditioner daily.

  • Avoid the temptation to over touch the eye area after treatment.

  • Comb lashes upwards using a mascara wand when needed.
